Challenge DV is a domestic violence prevention charity driving change for a safer community. We stand with our community, committed to ending violence. Challenge DV have been partnering with communities since 2001 to educate, advocate and empower people to end domestic and family violence.
The funds raised by Celebrate for a Cause for Challenge DV will be used to run a Pilot Youth Training Program in across community sports in the Wynnum/Manly region. The program will empower community groups to stand together against domestic and family violence.
For those who have not heard of the Bayside Community Fund, it was established in May 2022 and is a sub-fund of the Queensland Community Foundation, supported by the Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) and The Public Trustee. They collectively manage over $110,000,000 the investment proceeds of which are returned to the community across Queensland.
The Bayside Community Fund will benefit non-profit groups in the electorate of Lytton. Funds deposited into the fund will be invested by the QIC and remain there in perpetuity, the dividends being distributed yearly to those in the electorate who are in need in the form of grants. Most importantly, these funds belong to the community.
we couldn’t make it all happen without our sponsors and partners!
